Question 1 of 7

{WHY?} is the basis for creating image and style since every garment, accessory, hairstyle and make-up look you wear communicates for ahead of you - even right now with what you’ve got on - even if you’ve never been presented with this as a critical idea for your success. It is.

:: Why do I need to have my confidence at my most optimal?
:: Why do I need my audience/boss/clients/customers to trust me?
:: Why do I need to be heard for my ideas? Why are they important?

Question 2 of 7

{WHO?} The good ol’ “target market” talk. You gals know that my degree, training and experience is in packaged goods marketing so you knew this one would come up. YOU - are a “product.” What you do is a service to someone which means you have a “target market” for which you need to be visible and confident.
This target may be a particular type of client, your upper management, a customer, the community group you lead, even the family you are growing up as an intentional mother - but the fact remains that how you present yourself needs to install trust in them for them to take you seriously, hear you and buy into you and from you. So...
:: Who is your target market?
:: Who do you need to influence in order to leave your legacy or make an impact?
:: Who is responsible for you moving up or moving forward?

Grade yourself on a scale of 1-10 to make it stick! 1-“I know I’m invisible to my target market”, 10-“I’m dressing with intention for my target market at least 80% of the time."

Question 3 of 7

{WHAT} THE most important question after the first 2 are established. What the heck are you saying with what you wear because, be clear, right now with what you are wearing you are saying SOMETHING but do you know what it is and are you intentional about it? I will tell you 99.9% of women DO NOT know how to translate what they want others to know about them into the garments and accessories they wear.  Garment shape, cut, color, detail, prints, patterns and materials all have a subliminal messaging about your personal values, your intentions, and your beliefs.
:: What do you want to say to your target market about who you are ever time they see you?
:: What values do you want to communicate silently that will help you connect to your target market?
:: What level of know-how do you have with aligning your clothing with the message you want to create? (0% - 100%)

Question 4 of 7

{WHERE} This one might seem kind of weird but by now you know it’s going to be something you haven’t considered before. Where do you need to present your best image? This goes to lifestyle. Most women know that image is important at “work” or at a “professional setting” but what they don’t realize is that those times are only a fraction of your life.
So many of you have careers and businesses that are woven into your daily life, in or out of an office, from home office to corporate high-rise. Your target market sees you in more places than one and your image from business formality to casual needs to be consistent in all places.
Of course you can wear casual clothes, but do you know how to choose your sundress or casual denim based on your image and personal brand so it continues your “silent commercial”? Remember an image must be working 80% of the time to build trust of others - that includes being at your kid’s birthday party or even golfing on the weekend.
:: Where do you need to be sure you are consistently projecting your best level of image and confidence?

Question 5 of 7

{WHEN?} You have dreams. You have goals and aspirations, but when are they coming true? Someday? Never? Every dream you have WILL involve and require other people. Think about it: to build a business - you need clients, customers and collaborations; to step up in a career - you need colleagues and upper management; to be a community leader - you need supporters and connections.

That means at some point, you will need to decide when you are stepping out to be seen by folks so you can achieve your aims. Stepping out is about having confidence and a personal brand image that is reputable, consistent and communicative.

When do you want to begin creating that? It takes on average 29 impressions for a target market to notice you and want to learn more about you. When do you want to start the #1 of the 29 of the RIGHT image - the one that is intentional?
:: When - in how many months -do I want to see the positive forward momentum of my goals?
(If it’s within 3- 6 months, you’ll need to start as soon as possible building your image and confidence - it takes that long to begin getting it right and then for those 29 impressions to start counting in your favour.)
