Hey there, Gal! I'm Michele, the creator of Hue And Style. I work as a full service Image Consultant, Personal Color Expert, Wardrobe Stylist and Confidence Coach to my clients. I help professionals, entrepreneurs and women of influence dress with impact so they can communicate their expertise through their appearance - especially through the power of Color. I help them adore themselves more, which changes their mindset for success and bring more business, better clients, more awesome relationships all because they invested in their personal confidence. I help my clients find personal style clarity and wardrobe confidence that helps them stand-out and project an image that acts like marketing for their business! I help women transform their relationship with their bodies by seeing the beauty in their shape TODAY releasing the pressure to diet, exercise and “flog” ourselves with negative self-talk until we “reach our ideal” before making an investment in their image. The truth is when we make the investment, we change our outlook and other changes follow suit.
I have been helping women for over 18 years look and feel their best to grow their business and their lives.
And when I’m not color draping a client, filming a video class, speaking in my community about confidence or posting on my favorite social media - Instagram - and now a on Periscope (@MCGustafson), I am a wife of almost 15 years who loves to cook, teach Salsa & Zumba, am a mom to a bright cat-loving, 9-year-old little girl who was the inspiration for my book Angel In Your Heart.
If you are curious to know more, here are 4 things you probably don’t know about me:
- I struggled with body image from a very young age having moved to Northern Rural Canada and without seeing people who “looked like me,” I fell into comparing myself with and unattainable ideal. It’s why I am so passionate about my work now.
- I fall asleep in almost all movies I watch - at home, in theatres - I sort of doesn’t matter.
- I was a national debate champ in high school - I guess that why I love talking and expressing. It’s part of who I am!
- I am a cat person not a dog person
I’m so glad you found HUE+Style.
My motto over here is to be a “Hunter Not A Gatherer.” It’s about being intentional in all we do and true to our values - our image, our wardrobe, our career, our family life, our relationships - that bring us our own definition of success.
