It’s your mentor here, I’ve been mentoring women for almost 30 years. You know that. And in that time, I have watched thousands of women get part way to the best version of themselves. In my early days of creating my own image confidence after a depression, I thought feeling better by being my own image client and seeing myself as a new woman in the mirror would be the thing that would 100% snap me out of my low - and it did work - to a point.

I found that after I became more connected to who I was, more appreciative of my unique features in my body, was using my color palette, learning to create an expression all my own and was more excited to dress for the woman I was becoming, the world took notice. (You’ve already had this happen to you. I know it!) People saw me differently.

But some other things happened too that I couldn’t have predicted like:

• I was sabotaging my efforts toward my new image business because I wasn’t sure I wanted the criticism from people around me - I was still trying to be what others wanted even though I had seen my true self.
• I found myself playing a mindset tug-of-war with my new confidence and my old limiting belief “tapes.” They seemed to be winning most of the time.
• I was finding it hard to stay consistent with my image teachings as this mindset war raged and I was starting to put things that would grow my goals on the back burner.
• I couldn’t even clearly define the next goals that would fit my new confidence. I couldn’t seem to find a way to separate old emotions from my new feelings of moving toward the true me.

I was stuck again - just at a new level. A well-dressed level but stuck none the less.

But then one day I was clearing out old boxes from my office closet and a folder I had used to teach my six-figure direct sales team fell out (and hit me on the head -literally- smile) The papers went all over the floor. It was the mindset training course I had used to help my winning team sell more.

**Boom Lightbulb Moment!** It wasn’t just for sales! It was the mindset for a balanced, successful life!

Picking up those papers off the floor, I realized that even though I had gone through an image transformation and a partial mindset shift, I hadn’t anchored the emotions we as women go through to a roadmap for clearing my negative tapes and limiting beliefs forever. I had fixed the self-love and acceptance part with an image, but I needed to kill the critical voice of self-sabotage for good so I could make goals and decisions as my new self.

I re-organized the papers of that course and began to re-work them myself to train my mindset and then to turn that mindset into action toward goals built on my new outlook and who I was truly becoming.
