Quiet. Shhhhhhh..... you can’t hear yourself if you’re listening to everyone else.
I used to listen to a lot of voices that weren’t my own. I had a belief running rampant that if I wasn’t ‘out front talking all the time’ than what I give wasn’t as valuable or important. Wrong (of course). I’ve got a roster of extraordinary women I’ve helped built on this ‘apparent quietness’ to prove it.
I’ve learned and embraced that when there is power in the silence and intention in the solitude, there is time for focus and new creativity. There is also opportunity and space to develop more so that what you do give when you step out to be visible is the deepest, most authentically powerful version of a meaningful outcome possible.
It’s a freeing shift but takes courage to make it and discipline over time to practice it.
So, shhhhhh, go quiet. The world is loud and ranty. That will never fill you up even if it sounds...
I believe in Personal Alchemy.
Alchemy is the ability to turn something “basic” into something more “precious.” The idea is usually reserved for the turning of metals into gold but for me, it’s helping my people turn a self-doubt-laden, obligation-driven life into a personal growth-powered, purpose-filled journey. To me, that’s Personal Alchemy.

When you know how to use your personal alchemy - rooted in a growing, evolving confidence - you can create anything, touch more and change more lives. It all starts with how you see yourself, Gal. I don’t believe in “faking it til you make it.” The magic of who you are gets lost in that notion....
The most beautiful way to see yourself differently through the eyes of another who believes in you. Here is what happened to me.
In the last weeks, I’ve felt some old demons arise. I am not immune. I have dips too. Gratefully, I have a rock-solid way to turn the dip into a climb.
The cycle of dip-climb-soar happens over and over for everyone. No one can avoid it, but the most successful and fulfilled people have a way to turn feelings into understanding, understanding into resolve and resolve into action. It means you fold in and take time to see what life is teaching you. It means going quiet. It means stepping out of the noise to listen in the quiet of your own path.
We have a very particular kind of process in the #HueandStyle confidence mindset universe to reverse the dips. I’ve been working my process, and I always know I’ve turned my dip (“yellow to blue to green” reference for my GoalStyling clients) around when beautiful things begin...
